A RESOLUTION OF The CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATIONS
LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1990 -92 PURSUANT
TO THE ARTICLE X111B OF THE CALIFORNIA
CONSTITUTION.
WHEREAS, Article X111B of the California Constitution
provides that the total annual appropriations subject to the
limitations of each governmental entity, including this City,
shall not exceed the appropriation limit of such entity of
government for the prior year adjusted for changes in the cost of
living or personal income and population, except as otherwise
provided for in said Article X111B and implementing State
statutes; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Article X111B of said
California Constitution, and section 7900 et seq. of the
California Government Code, the City is required to set its
appropriation limit for each fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, said total annual appropriation subject to
limitation of the City of Lynwood has been computed by the
Director of Finance in accordance with provisions of
Article X111B and Government Code Section 7900, et seq.; and,
WHEREAS, based on such calculations the Director
of Finance has determined the said appropriation limit and
' pursuant to Section 7910 of said California Government Code, has
made available to the public the documentation used in the
determination of said appropriation limit;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Lynwood does
hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the appropriation limit for Fiscal
Year 1991 -92 shall be and is hereby set in the amount of
10,850,661 for said Fiscal Year.
Section 2. This resolution shall go effect immediately
upon its adoption.
