The ordinance amends section 720 of e city's code of ordinances regarding individual sewage eatment systems. The ordinance was adopted in r sponse to recent changes in state law and allows the city t continue to regulate individual septic systems within e community. Although the ordinance generally adopts e Minnesota state rules commonly referred to as "7080", e ordinance is more stringent in certain respects than ate law. For example, Medina will continue to require o septic sites, a primary and an alternative, for each lot d will allow experimental septic systems only on sites ch have been previously developed and on which the e ' Ling system has failed.
