A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING A CONTRACT AMENDMENTS TO CUTLER
AND ASSOCIATES FOR THE LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (5 -5084)
WHEREAS, in December 1988, the City Council awarded a
' contract to Cutler and Associates to provide right -of -way
acquisition services for the Long Beach Boulevard Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, Federal Highway Administration and Caltrans
required that the project's Environmental Impact Report and
Environmental Assessment be complete before any right -of way
acquisition could proceed; and
WHEREAS, this requirement has altered the right -of -way
acquisition schedule that caused a cost increase to the
consultant due to inflation; and
WHEREAS, a contract amendment is necessary in the
amount of $10,000.00 to compensate Cutler and Associates for
their cost increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council authorize staff to
issue a contract amendment for $10,000.00 to Cutler and
Associates.
' Section 2: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the
contract amendment.
Section 3: This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of
November , 1991.
