A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
A ENGINE DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE THROUGH INFORMAL
BID BY A 4/5 VOTE.
WHEREAS, the purchase of the engine diagnostic machine
was approved by the City Council and is funded by an ICLFA loan;
and
WHEREAS, in order to meet the loan spending schedule
deadline, this purchase needs to be done in an expeditious
manner, through an informal bidding process; and
WHEREAS, the purchase is approximately $24,000 for the
engine diagnostic machine; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood Municipal Code, section
6 -3.13, allows for informal bid purchases by a 4/5 vote by the
City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the City Council approve the
the purchase of the engine diagnostic machine through an informal
bid by a 4/5 vote.
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
