A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NATIONAL PLANT
SERVICES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,875.00 FOR
THE SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PHASE I, (5 -5135)
WHEREAS, the Sewer Improvement Project is scheduled
for completion during fiscal year 1991 -1992, and is financed by
the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on January 21, 1992,
and National Plant Services, Inc. was the lowest responsible
bidder; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
company has the necessary experience; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the contract for the Sewer Improvement
Project, Phase I, (5- 5135), be awarded to National Plant
Services, Inc. of Long Beach, California, for their low bid of
$21,875.00
Section 2 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and National
Plant Services, Inc.
Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of
February 1992.
