A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ESTABLISHING PARKING PROHIBITION ALONG
MAJOR BOULEVARDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF STREET SWEEPING

WHEREAS, unlike in the residential areas, parking
prohibition was not established and signs not erected along
certain areas of major boulevards; and
WHEREAS, residents and businesses are complaining about
the effectiveness of street sweeping due to many cars parking
along sweeping routes of major boulevards; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous to maintain
effective street sweeping program in the entire City; and
WHEREAS, a street sweeping schedule for all major
boulevards has been prepared for the City Council's review and
approvals.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the following named street in the City
of Lynwood, parking is prohibited for the purpose to street
sweeping (see Exhibit A):
Section 2 . That the Director of Public Works is hereby
authorized to erect signs giving notice thereof:
Section 3 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of
February , 1992.
