RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. 4052 WITH THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood owns a historic building known
as the Pacific Electric Railway Depot; and
=' WHEREAS, construction of the I -105 freeway has made
necessary the relocation of said Depot; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, pursuant to a separate
Memorandum of Agreement, has a legal obligation to relocate and
rehabilitate said Depot for public use; and
WHEREAS, a Cooperative Agreement between the State and the
City is required to implement the relocation, the rehabilitation
and acceptance of jurisdiction after completion.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That Cooperative Agreement No. 4052 is hereby
approved and the Mayor is authorized to sign said Agreement.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
