A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION
TRANSFER FOR THE 1991 FUEL EFFICIENCY TRAFFIC
SIGNAL MANAGEMENT (FETSIM) PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City received a State of California grant
for the Fuel Efficient Traffic Signal Maintenance Program
(FETSIM) in the amount of $41,510; and
' WHEREAS, Council awarded the contract to ASL Consultant
at its October 1, 1991 meeting per Resolution No. 91 -151 to
develop /implement a new timing plan for Imperial Highway,
Atlantic Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard to reduce vehicle delay
and fuel consumption; and
WHEREAS, the City will be reimbursed for costs incurred
as outlined in the agreement between the State and the City; and
WHEREAS, the project was note included in the FY 1991-
92 budget under Traffic Signal Maintenance Division; and
WHEREAS, the reimbursement will be used to replenish
the money appropriated from the Unappropriated General Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the City
Manager or his designee to make the following transfer and
appropriation:

General Fund Traffic Signal
Unappropriated Fund Balance Maintenance Fund
$40,210.00 $40,210.00
Section 2. That the reimbursement the City receives
from the State will be used to replenish the General Fund.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.

of February , 1992.
