A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ANCON
MARINE, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $70,317.00 FOR
THE SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (5 -5125)
WHEREAS, the Sidewalk Reconstruction Project is scheduled
for completion during fiscal year 1991 -92, and is financed
' by the Landscape Maintenance Assessment and SB -821, funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on February 6, 1992, and
Ancon Marine, Inc., was the lowest responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the Contractor
has the necessary experience.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Sidewalk Reconstruction
Project No. (5- 5125), be awarded to Ancon Marine Inc., for its
low bid of $70,317.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor isohereby authorized to execute
the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Ancon Marine Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of
February 1992.
