RESOLUTION N0, 64 -56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF ANNEXA-
TION PROCEEDINGS (ATLANTIC AVENUE ANNEXATION N0, 6).
WHEREAS, on May 19, 1964, request was made to the City
Council of the City of Lynwood to commence proceedings to annex
certain inhabited territory bounded generally by Thorson Avenue,
Fernwood Avenue, Long Beach Freeway and McMillan Street, and
WHEREAS, said request was referred to the Planning
Commission for investigation and report, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 14th day
of July 1964 submit to the City Council its report,
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that consent is hereby
granted for the commencement of proceedings for annexation of said
area, in accordance with the Annexation Act of 1913, said area to
be designated as "Atlantic Avenue Annexation No. 6."
* APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of July 1964.
