DATE: March 23, 2017 RE: Interactive Technology Providing meeting and study room technology for our patrons is a high priority for the library. Our request for $30,000 would fund the following items: 1) Sound loop for the hearing impaired and enhanced sound system in the Watertown Savings Bank Room 2) Interactive white boards with video conferencing capabilities in each of the study and meeting rooms 3) Digital touch screens in each of the study and meeting rooms 4) Wall mounted projectors in the Watertown Savings Bank and Mastrangelo Room 5) Upgrades to the wireless network at the library to support increased in-house use of devices We envision that library staff and patrons alike will find these tools to be helpful in the work that they do at the library. These technological improvements have been requested by our patrons and staff and will greatly enhance the services that the library provides.
