AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE #71-9
ESTABLISHING SA/~Ry SCHEDULES AND FIXING
THE MATTER OF PAYMENTS OF SAI~ARIES FOR
VARIOUS OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
BOROUGH OF CARTEHET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following Amendment of the above entitled
Ordinance be made in Section 1:
School Traffic Guards 1-1-94 1-1-95
Start 6.50/hr. 6.50/hr.
Month 4 6.98/hr. 7.10/hr.
Month 8 7.46/hr. 7.70/hr.
Month 12 7.94/hr. 8.30/hr.
Month 16 8.42/hr. 8.90/hr.
Month 20 8.92/hr. 9.52/hr.
Ail employees hired prior to January 1, 1994 shall receive the
20th Month Rate of pay.
The Assistant to the Supervisor (Senior School Traffic Guard)
shall receive one dollar ($1.00) above the Maximum Guard Rate.
Longevity: *AMENDED 2/16/95 TO INCLUDE:
Start of 5th Year $20.00 * per each year of service
Start of 10th Year 30.00 " " ,,
Start of 15th Year 35.00 " " ,,
SECTION 2. That the Schedule of Compensation of this
Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as
provided by Law.
