RESOLUTION NO. 87-116
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE LEASE /PURCHASE OF
TWO COPIERS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THE
NECESSARY FUNDS.

WHEREAS, the City owned copy machines located in City
Hall and the Annex Buildings do not meet current needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and evaluated
three proposals for the replacement of these copiers; and
WHEREAS, the Kodak proposals for City Hall and the
Annex provide the best combination of features at the most cost -
effective price option;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. Since purchase of copy machines are more
economically and efficiently effected through negotiations and
informal bidding, City Council waives formal bidding procedures
in accordance with section 2 -62 of the municipal code.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to sign
lease /purchase agreements for the Kodak 150 and Kodak 85 copiers.
Section 3. That the following appropriations are made
to the FY 1987/88 budget:

Section 4. This resolution shall
immediately upon its adoption.
