A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL
APPROVE THE CONSULTANT SELECTION FOR THE STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, ALPINE AVENUE (5- 5088),
' NORTON AVENUE (5 -5089) AND SAN MIGUEL (5 -5090)
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal were sent out to
consultant engineers; and
WHEREAS, six proposals were received from consultant
engineers; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were analysed; and
WHEREAS, the consultants were ranked in the following
order:
1. KaWES and Associates $23,360.00
2. Harris and Associates $30,420.00
3. Don Greek and Associates $47,296.00
4. Corey engineering $53,000.00
5. RKA Ron Kranger and Associates $59,870.00
6. Cash and Associates $60,283.00
WHEREAS, KaWES and Associates has been determined to
be the best suited for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . The City Council approve the selection
of KaWES and Associates to provide consulting engineering
services for the Street Improvement Projects, Alpine Avenue
(5- 5088), Norton Avenue (5 -5089) and San Miguel Street (5 -5090)
for an hourly fee not to exceed $23,360.00.
Section 2 . That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
consultant agreement upon successful negotiation.
Section 3 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
