A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO UTILITY
AGREEMENT NO. 7UT- 10,358

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood entered into Utility
Agreement No. 7UT- 10,358 with Caltrans dated September 16, 1986,
for the relocation of its Water facilities between Atlantic
Avenue and Long Beach Freeway to accommodate the construction of
the Route 105 Freeway; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost to State was $390,000 as set
forth in said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the costs over and above those
estimated in the preparation of the Agreement was incurred and
inadvertently omitted at the time of the execution of said
Agreement; and '
WHEREAS, when the recorded costs exceed the estimated
amount set forth in a Utility Agreement by 25% or more, said
Agreement must be amended to show the revised cost of the work to
State; and
WHEREAS, by reason of the increased costs referred to
above the revised estimated cost to State is now $630,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council approve the amendment to
Utility Agreement No. 7UT - 10,358.
Section 2 . This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of
October 1987.
