RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY
AREA -IN CONNECTION WITH. THE PREPARATION- OF AMEN MENT
NO. 3 TO THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT PROTECT ''A"
AND DIRECTING THE PLANNING CavRIIISSION TO SELECT
BOUNDARIES FOR ANNNE ENT NO. 3 TO THE LYNWOOD
REDEVELOPMENT PROTECT "A" AND TO FORMULATE A
PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE
PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33310 of the California CaT=nity
Redevelopment Law, the City Council of the City of Lynwood may designate
areas within the incorporated limits of the-City as a_Redevelopment Survey
Area, and
WHEREAS, Section 33322 of the California Community Redevelopment
Law authorizes the Planning Commission to select Project Areas from within
the boundaries of the Redevelopment Survey Area and formulate a Preliminary
Plan for the redevelopment of such proposed Redevelopment Project Area, and
WHEREAS, this City Council desires to designate as a
Redevelopment Survey in connection with the proposed Amendment No. 3 to
the Lynwood Redevelopment Project "A" that area as shown on the map attached
' hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1 . The City Council hereby designates as a Redevelopment
Survey area that area within the incorporated limits of the City as a
Redevelopment Survey Area as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2 . The City Council hereby directs the Planning
Commission to select the boundaries of Amendment No. 3 to the Lynwood
Redevelopment Project "A" from within the boundaries of the Redevelopment ^ -a^
Survey Area and to formulate a Preliminary Plan for the redevelopment of the
Redevelopment Project Area.
