A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A PURCHASE ORDER CONTRACT
TO LAKEWOOD CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT
OF $6,898.50 FOR THE REPAIR OF FRACAR STREET
WHEREAS, the existing condition of the street is both
hazardous and unsightly; and
WHEREAS, the construction of concrete gutters and
asphalt pavement is needed; and '
WHEREAS, informal bids have been received for the
repairs; and
WHEREAS, the lowest bidder is Lakewood Construction
Company at $6,898.50; and
WHEREAS, by a four-fifth-vote, City Council can wave
formal bid procedures; and
WHEREAS, funding is available in the Street Maintenance
Repair Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That a purchase order contract for the
Fracar Avenue Repairs Project be awarded to Lakewood Construction
Company.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
