A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE THROUGH AN IN-
FORMAL BID FOR A TRAILER - MOUNTED AIR COMPRESSOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide the
I necessary equipment to continue providing a safe and efficient
City maintenance operation; and
WHEREAS, the trailer mounted air compressor to be
purchased is listed in the Budget for FY 1987 -88, under the
Capital Outlay List; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition can be more economically ef-
fected if done through an informal bid; and
WHEREAS, under Section 2 -62 (c) of the Lynwood Municipal
Code, Council can authorize purchases through informal bids by a
4/5 vote; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds and
determines that the acquisition of a trailer- mounted air compressor
can be more efficiently and economically effected by an informal
bid procedure, in that a better price for the equipment could be
obtained from that of a formal bid.
' Section ,2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of
November „ 1987.
