A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A SIXTY -DAY, UNPAID
LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR FRANCISCO JIMENEZ
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE
PROGRAM USA /BRAZIL
WHEREAS, the Rotary International Foundation (RIF) sponsors
a Group Study Exchange Program with the country of Brazil, South
America; and
WHEREAS, Francisco Jimenez, Economic Development Specialist
of the City of Lynwood, has been selected by RIF as one of five
professionals from Southern California to participate in this six
week program; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled departure date is May 21, 1989.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as
follows: , '
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized
to approve a leave of obsence for Francisco Jimenez from May 22,
1989 to July 17, 1989.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upn adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1989.
