A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO SULLY MILLER
CONTRACTING COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $557,369.60
FOR THE LONG BEACH BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
- PHASE IIA (5 -5084)
APPROVED AS TO FORM:

WHEREAS, the Long Beach Boulevard Improvement Project -
Phase IIA is scheduled for construction during fiscal year 1988 -89,
funded by LRA Bond fund; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 12, 1989, and
Sully Miller Contracting Company was the low bidder with a bid of
$557,369.60; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
contractor has the necessary experience for this type of project; and
WHEREAS, a Youth Hiring and Training Program will be
implemented as part of this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Long Beach Boulevard
Improvement Project - Phase IIA be awarded to Sully Miller
Contracting Company.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18 t_h day of
