,WHEREAS, due to funding requirements, environmental
deadlines, CalTrans /FHWA approvals and the urgency to complete this
project, the design and construction was phased; and
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING A CONSULTANT CHANGE ORDER FOR
THE LONG BEACH BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
(5 -5084)
WHEREAS, City Council selected KaWes and Associates on
September 15, 1987 to design and administer construction of the
Long Beach Boulevard Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the project phases required additional work by
the consultant, estimated by staff to be $60,000; and
WHEREAS, a consultant contract change order is required in
the amount of $60,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize staff to issue
a change order for $60,000 to KaWes and Associates for the project
phasing and approve pending invoices.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
