A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PURCHASE AND
ACCEPT DEEDS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF VARIOUS
PROPERTIES ON KONG BEACH BOULEVARD FROM LYNWOOD
ROAD TO ORCHARD AVENUE - LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to acquire various properties on
Long Beach Boulevard, from Lynwood Road to Orchard Avenue, in order to widen
the street in a timely fashion; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to authorize the Mayor to exercise
authority to purchase and accept deeds for said acquisition; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized.to purchase and
accept deeds for the acquisition of various properties necessary for the
street widening project.

Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
