A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYN'A'OOD ACCEPTING THE SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT NO. 5 -5105 OF (FY 1988 -89)
WHEREAS, the project was awarded to Damon Construction Company, the
lowest responsible bidder on January 17, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the construction was started on February 1,,1989, and was
completed on March 31, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $272,413.38.

WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found that it was complete
in accordance with plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the tree planting portion of the project can be done more
economically through an informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, under Section 2 -62(c) of the Lynwood Municipal Code,
Council can authorize implementation of the tree planting portion of the
project through informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows-
Section 1 . That the City Council accepts the Sidewalk
Reconstruction Project as being completed in accordance with contract
documents.
Section 2 . The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
tree planting portion of the project can be more economically completed by an
informal bid procedure.
