A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE CENTURY BOULEVARD
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. 5 -5011 (FY 1988 -89)
WHEREAS, the project was awarded to Excel Paving Contracting
Company, the lowest responsible bidder on September 6, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the construction was started on January 27, 1989,
and was completed on March 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $322,511.25.
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found that it
was complete in accordance with plans and specifications; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council accepts the Century
Boulevard Reconstruction Proj. as being completed in accordance with
contract documents.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of May , 1989.
