A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO EXCALIBUR
CONTRACTING COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$191,244.34 FOR THE STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECTS AT ALPINE AVENUE, NORTON AVENUE
AND SAN MIGUEL AVENUE (5 -5088, 5 -5089 AND 5 -5090)
WHEREAS, the Street Improvement Projects at Alpine
Avenue, Norton Avenue and San Miguel Avenue is scheduled for
construction during fiscal year 1988 -89, are funded by Gas Tax; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 1, 1989, and
Excalibur Contracting, Inc. was the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
contractor has the necessary experience.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Street
Improvement Projects at Alpine Avenue, Norton Avenue and San
Miguel Avenue be awarded to Excalibur Contracting, Inc.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
