"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF WEIGHT
EQUIPMENT, BASEBALL UNIFORMS, BASKETBALL UNIFORMS,
FOLDING CHAIRS, BOXING GEAR, AND OTHER SUPPLIES
THROUGH INFORMAL PURCHASE PROCEDURE, IN THE CASE
OF THE WEIGHT EQUIPMENT, CAL -GYM AS THE SOLE VENDOR"
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved funds for the purchase
of Sheriff's Athletic League (SAL) equipment
WHEREAS, SAL personnel have investigated sources for supply
of various types of equipment (above mentioned)
WHEREAS, the amount of several items exceed the maximum
amount for purchase by informal process; and
WHEREAS, it would be more expedient to pursue this project
through informal and sole vendor purchase procedures,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood authorize the Sheriff's Athletic League staff to acquire base-
ball, boxing gear, weight lifting equipment, basketball uniforms, chairs, and other
supplies through the sole vendors or informal purchase procedure.
