A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADOPTING THE ANNUAL OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1989190
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted a proposed
Annual Operating and Capital Improvement Budget for the
Fiscal Year 1989/90 (Attachment A ); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the proposed
budget and approved same with changes; and
WHEREAS, Council held a public hearing on July 5, 1989
to allow for public comment prior to adoption;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The Annual Operating and Capital Improvement Budget
for the Fiscal Year 1989/90 is hereby approved and adopted
along with the changes added by the City Council at their
June 14th and June 19th workshops.
Section 2. Authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to
approve any transfer between accounts, provided that:
1. They are within the same general group of accounts
(Personnel, Operations or Capital Outlay);
2. They are being transferred to cover expenses of temporary
personnel due to vacant positions;
3. They are within the same fund;
' 4. They do not exceed $10,000 per transfer.
Section 3. Funds for Capital Outlay can only be used for those
items 1 through 8B, 13, 14 and 15 in the approved Capital
Outlay list (Attachment A) in the FY 1989/90 Annual Budget or
for those items approved by the City Manager or his designee.
1. Authorize staff to increase the ICLFA loan amount from 1
million to 2.5 million and direct staff not to apply for
the 1.5 million Section 108 loan.
Section 4. This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of
July 1989.
