A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ( LYNWOOD ROAD TO ORCHARD
AVENUE - PHASE I)
WHEREAS, the the project was awarded to Silveri and Le Bouef,
J. V., the lowest responsible bidder on October 27, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the construction was started on January 16, 1989,
and completed on June 2, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $1,160,213.15; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected ithe project and found it to be
complete in accordance with plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council accepts the Long
Beach Boulevard Improvement Project - Phase I as being complete in
accordance with contract documents.
Section 2 . That the City Council hereby relieves Silveri and
Le Bouef, J.V. from maintenance duty of the project.
immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
' PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of
July , 1989.
