RESOLUTION NO. 89 -125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING A FEE SCHEDULE
FOR ENGINEERING PLAN CHECK
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division of the Public Works
Department is responsible for plan checking for improvement
I plans, grading plans and sub - division maps; and
WHEREAS, from time to time, the Engineering Division
needs outside services to relieve its workload; and
WHEREAS, the fee schedule is revised to reflect the
total cost the City will incur when outside consultant are
retained; and
WHEREAS, the purchase order agreement is considered
flexible to be used for the aforementioned services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The fee schedule for Engineering plan
checking is as follows -

An additional $115 per sheet of the road improvement plan will be
charged for the fifth and each subsequent check of the original
and /or prints of the plan.
NOTE: To determine the construction cost, the engineer preparing
the plan must submit a cost estimate, including a 12%
contingency, to the City for verification.

NOTE: To determine the construction cost, the engineer preparing
the plan must submit a cost estimate, including a 15%
contingency, to the City for verification.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
