A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE DIVISION OF THE
IMPERIAL HIGHWAY SCREEN /BEAUTIFICATION WALL
PROJECT (5 -5104) INTO DIFFERENT PROJECTS AND
AUTHORIZING READVERTISEMENT

WHEREAS, the Imperial Highway Screen /Beautification Wall
Project design has been completed; and
WHEREAS, on May 26, 1989 advertisement for bids began,
closing on June 22, 1989, with no bids being submitted by
contractors; and
WHEREAS, further investigation has revealed that if the
project is divided into its more logical trades, more contractors
would be able to bid the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the project for the Imperial Highway
Screen /Beautification Wall Project be divided into different
sections and be advertised again.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 1Sth day of
July , 1989.
