A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH
CANON HUMAN SERVICES CENTERS TO PROVIDE THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD WITH AN AIDS /HYPERTENSION
AWARENESS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on July 5, 1989, the Lynwood City Council
authorized staff to reserve and designate $ 5.000 in Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for an Aids /Hypertension
Awareness Program; and
WHEREAS, Council has selected C anon Human Services Centers, In c.
to provide said services.
WHEREAS, the term of this Agreement is twelve (12) months
from July, 1989 to July , 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve and adopt the attached Contract
Agreement with won Human Services Centers, Inc. to provide the
City with an Aids /Hypertension Awareness Program for 12 months.
SECTION 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the attached
Contract Agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18 th day of July ,
1989.
