CONTRACT AMENDMENT
This Contract Amendment made and entered into this day of
, 2014, by and between THE CITY OF TYBEE ISLAND, STATE OF
GEORGIA (hereinafter referred to as the "City"), and PHILLIPS & JORDAN, INC.,
(hereinafter referred to as the "CONTRACTOR"), and sets forth the following:
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into a pre-event Contract for
Disaster Debris Management and Infrastructure Restoration Services; and
WHEREAS, Article 1 of such Agreement provided that the City had an option to
renew the same; and
WHEREAS, the parties have previously amended a contract so as to extend the
teuii from October 27, 2009 through October 27, 2014; and
WHEREAS, an additional extension of the contract is necessary and appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained
herein and the considerations recited in the original Contract, it is hereby expressly
agreed as follows:
The City exercises its option for renewal as provided in Article 1 for an additional
five year period such that the current term of the Contract with the renewal will be from
October 27, 2014 through and including October 27, 2019.
All other terms and provisions of the original Contract shall continue in force.
