RESOLUTION NO. 89_134
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE TREE MAINTENANCE
PROJECT, AREA 4 (FY 1988 -89)

WHEREAS, staff advertised for bids for the Four Year Tree
Maintenance Project (FY 1987 -88 to FY 1990 -91); and
WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on May 6, 1988, and
California Western Arborist, Inc., was the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, the work on Area 4 (FY 1988 -89) started November
2, 1988, and was completed on July 6, 1989; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected and found that it was complete
in accordance with specifications; and
WHEREAS, the cost for Area 4 is $77,485.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accept Area 4 of the
Four Year Tree Maintenance Project as being completed in accordance
with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 1st day of
August , 1989.
