A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DECLARING CERTAIN EQUIPMMENT TO BE
SURPLUS AND DIRECTING THE SALE THEREOF

WHEREAS, certain equipment owned by the City has become
worn out and obsolete; and
WHEREAS, pooling equipment and vehicles would reduce the
size and maintenance of the equipment fleet; and
WHEREAS, underutilized vehicles could be more economically
rented for their limited uses; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to sell
such equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the equipment as listed in Attachment "A"
is found and determined to be surplus.
Section 2. The City Manager and the Director of Public
Works are directed to cause the sale of said surplus equipment.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 1ct day of
August , 1989.
