A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD TO APPROVE A
CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH CANON HUMAN
SERVICES TO ADVANCE THE OPERATING
AGENCY THE AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS

WHEREAS, a contract agreement in the amount of $5,000 has
been approved and executed in accordance with Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and City guidelines; and
WHEREAS, Operating Agency has requested a funding advance
in the amount of $1,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The Contract agreement with Canon Human
Services for public service activities is hereby amended to
provide for a payment advance of $1,000.00.
SECTION 2. Section 3 is hereby amended to include the
following clause:
Payment to Operating Agency shall include an initial
one -time advance payment of $1,000 for start -up costs.
For all subsequent payments, the City shall reimburse
Operating Agency an amount not to exceed $4,000.00,
which shall constitute full and complete reimbursement
hereunder provided, for the implementation of the
project described in Exhibit A to this Contract.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is authorized to execute 3 copies of
said contract upon approval by the City Attorney.
