A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 1989/90 BUDGET ADJUSTING THE
PERSONNEL CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY SCHEDULE FOR OFFICE
ASSISTANT POSITION IN THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the City Manager finds it to be in the City's
best interest to recruit and hire candidates with a broad
range of experience to work in his office; and
WHEREAS, funding for the recently adopted FY 89/90
' Budget reflects an Office Assistant I position in the City
Manager's Office.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that City Council of the
City of Lynwood hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following budget amendment and
appropriation:

General Fund Unappropriated
Fund Balance
Section 3. That the City Manager or his designee
upgrade the existing Office Assistant I position to an
Office Assistant II in order to recruit candidates with
sufficient experience and skills to meet the City needs.
Section 4. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this day of
August 1989.
