MEETING MINUTES
February 17, 2010 — Legion Hall, McCall, Idaho 83638 — 6:00 pm
I. CALL TO ORDER
Nathan Stewart called the meeting to order at 6:05 pm. Members present were, Shorty
Clarke, Ed Roper, Brigid Lawrence, Nathan Stewart, and Jenny Ruemmele. Carl Barrett
and Shawn Treasure were absent.
Staff Present for the meeting: Dennis Coyle, Director; Kurt Wolf, Recreation Supervisor;
Monika Trapp, Parks Supervisor.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Shorty Clarke motioned to approve the minutes Brigid Lawrence second. The minutes of
the January meeting were approved unanimously.
III. INTRODUCTION OF GUEST
IV. NEW BUSINESS
America in Bloom Program was explained by Mr. Clarke. It will be in conjunction with
the MIC, all City Departments and private citizens and businesses. Mr. Clarke asked for a
letter of support to the City Council endorsing our participation in the program. Board
unanimously endorsed the proposal. Chairman Stewart was directed by the board to write
the letter, Ms. Lawrence volunteered to assist.
Winter Carnival review. Monika detailed our response and actions. We did not encounter
any new issues. More people than usual. Discussion by board concerning cost.
TAC is reviewing current right of ways in the city. Mr. Clarke and Coyle explained the
meeting they attended with the TAC. Our concerns are primarily the amount of
flexibility we may or may not have with the property. The board requested that a map of
all the properties be made available. Director Coyle stated that as soon as the map is
available he will get it to the board.
Concessions: Director Coyle explained the selection criteria, review process and the
timeline.
LOT. Brief discussion on LOT applications and timeline.
Meeting adjourned at 8:10pm.
