MEETING MINUTES
March 16, 2011 — Legion Hall, McCall, Idaho 83638 — 6:00 pm
I. CALL TO ORDER
Shorty Clarke called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Members present were, Shorty
Clarke, Ed Roper, Brigid Lawrence, Carl Barrett, Billy McDonald and Irwin Mulnick.
Jenny Ruemmele was absent.
Staff Present for the meeting: Dennis Coyle, Director
II. INTRODUCTION OF GUEST
None
III. NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Clarke welcomed Billy McDonald as the new Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
member.
IV. Old Business
Mr. Clarke talked about the Centennial Celebration plans including the closing of 2°a
Street, family activities at Depot Park and weekend events.
Advisory Board Members involvement and department activities during the celebration
were discussed.
The Advisory Board was given an update on the Pathway Master Plan. Irwin Mulnick
also updated the Board.
Smoking Ban in parks was discussed. Council work session on 3.24.11 concerning the
proposed ban and CDH presentation to the Council was reviewed.
V. Open Discussion
The next board meeting will be a budget review meeting. Parks and recreation Advisory
Board Chair and Director present to the Council on 4.29.11
VI. Next Meeting
April 20, 2011 Meeting adjourned at 6:35 pm.
