RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
' CITY OF LYNWOOD REVISING GARBAGE AND
TRASH COLLECTION FEES
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code Section 13 -36
authorized the City Council by resolution to modify fees for
trash collection and hauling in the City of Lynwood from time
to time; and
WHEREAS, Western Waste Industries is the City's
exclusive hauler for residential, commercial and industrial
properties in the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 16 of the Contract between_
the City and Western Waste Industries, the City is to review and
consider appropriate adjustments to the rates set in the
contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public
health, safety and welfare will be enhanced by revising fees from
garbage and trash collection; and
WHEREAS, in the commercial and industrial services, the
Resolution No. 88 -146 did not reflect $4.00 /bin /month increase
adopted by the City Council correctly. When the number of pick
ups per week exceeded one, the rate did not reflect the increase
accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council as
follows: I V I .
Section 1. The Trash collection fees are as follows:
A. Ten percent franchise fee for all services.
B. Eight percent City's administrative fee for
residential, commercial and industrial services.
C. City will be responsible for the residential
commercial and industrial billings.

E. Commercial and Industrial Premises
