A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON THAT PORTION OF MC MILLAN STREET,
AS SHOWN ON TRACT MAP 11342 IN MAP BOOK 203,
PAGES 38 & 39 IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER
OF LAS ANGELES COUNTY
' The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, hereby resolves
and ordains as follows:
Section 1: That portion of McMillan Street as shown on Tract Map
11342 in Map Book 203, pages 38 and 39, in the Office of the Recorder of
Los Angeles County and as modified by State of California, Department of
Transportation, I -105 Freeway Construction, more precisely described:
Beginning at the most southerwesterly corner of Lot 25,
Block D of said Tract No. 11342; thence S 83 degrees
43 minutes 27 seconds E 64.02 feet; thence S 42 degrees
37 minutes 28 seconds W 37.25 feet; thence S 42 degrees
28 minutes 45 seconds W 47.82 feet to a point on a, curve
concave southwesterly having a radius of 42 feet;
thence northwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 102 degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds
a distance of 75.26 feet; thence N 6 degrees 16 minutes
30 seconds E 4.45 feet to the point of beginning.
Said portion of McMillan Street located within the
corporate limits of the City of Lynwood, is unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes and
that the public interest, necessity and convenience
require, and the City Council of said City hereby declares
its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of
said street.
Section 2: That said portion of the street, as above described,
being in the City of Lynwood, is shown on the official map of the City of
Lynwood, at the office of the City Clerk of said City, to which all parties
interested are referred for particulars as to the proposed vacation and
abandonment.
Section 3: That the City Council elects to proceed in said
vacation and abandonment under Section 8300 to 8324, inclusive, of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, as amended.
Section 4: The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
determine that the public convenience and necessity require that easements be
retained for construction and maintenance of utility lines within the limits of
the street vacation as described in Section 1.
Section 5: That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood is hereby
directed to give and post, as required by law, notice of the passage of this
Resolution of Intention, and give therein the legal description of said street
proposed to be vacated and abandoned, and specify the time and place of hearing
of this Resolution of Intention, which is hereby fixed as follows:
' The hearing to be before the City Council of the City of Lynwood, at
11330 Bullis Road, in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall of said City of
Lynwood, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. on September 19, 1989, at which time and place
all persons interested may appear and object or protest to the proposed vacation
and abandonment of said street. If the City Council finds from the evidence
submitted that the street is unnecessary for present or prospective use, it may
make its order vacating all or part of the street.

Section 6: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its

(AT THE EAST TERMINUS, JUST WEST OF THE I -710 FREEWAY)
A vacated portion of McMillan Street in the City of Lynwood,
' State of California, as shown on the map of Tract No. 11342 as
recorded in Book 203 Pages 38 and 39 of Maps in the office of
the Los Angeles County Recorder, included within the following
described lines:
Beginning at the most southwesterly corner of Lot 25, Block D
said Tract No. 11342; thence S 83 degree 43 minutes 27 seconds
64.02 feet; thence S 42 degrees 37 minutes 28 seconds W 37.25
feet; thence S 42 degrees 28 minutes 45 seconds W 47.82 feet
