A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF THREE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000.00) FOR THE INTERNATIONAL
UNITY FESTIVAL CITY WIDE SPECIAL EVENT THEREFORE
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is a community of diverse ethnic and
cultural backgrounds and;
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of bringing all people together; and
WHEREAS, the Recreation and Parks Department has been directed to
coordinate an International Unity Festival for the Labor Day Weekend,
September 1 - 4, 1989;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that City Council of the City of
Lynwood hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to
make the following appropriations:
FROM TO
General Fund Balance $3,000.00 01 -4112 -4220 $3,000.00
(Unappropriated Funds)
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of Augus 1989,
