A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN
EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES ON REDWOOD
AVENUE (PROJECT: 3156 REDWOOD AVENUE,
CASE NO. SPR 9)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acceptance of said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication along Redwood for the
development at 3156 Redwood Avenue has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of
an easement for street purposes to the City of Lynwood, as
offered for dedication, as designated.
The northerly five feet of Lots 50 and 51 of Block 13
of Modjeska Park, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per map recorded in book 9, pages 142 and
143 of maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
Section 2 . That the above described easement has been
offered for dedication to the City of Lynwood by Jose and Emilia
Elizarraraz (owners).
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of
September 1989.
