The purpose of the rneetin€; being called for the purpose
of consider ways and means to make improvements in the water
works. system and to consider a class B beer permit application
off; Eu�,•ene Hussman .
Tvlr Houser of the State Board of Healtri was present and
suggested probable cause why the Tovan water su.��ply does not
meet proper Healt'r� requirements, the council took his advisement
under proper consideration and will make ef�'ort to correct the
situation.
Application for a Cla_s�� B beer permit of Eugene Hussman was
granted upon the request that the Halleck &Hussman Beer permit
be cancelled.
P,ir 13alleck was present in -person and requested that the
Class B pernit of Hal:�eck &. Hussman be cancelled
The above action w�..s accented_ by the Council, and a motion v�ra.s
made that a Class B beer permit be granted to Eugene Hussman.

Council met as per ad.journz�rent to hear objectors to the proposed
Budget Estimate as published .
D.2a.yor Ross presiding, and councilmen all preserat;-
It was found the the Bu��f;et estimate had been duly published in the
ti4ellsburg Herald on July loth as required by law, and the time
having; a»rived to 'near objections thereto;- it was found that there
were no objections, whereupon it wa_s moved by Olcones, second by
Lindaman that the proposed estimate beadopted a.s the final taxes
to be levied. for the year 1941, and the Clerk be directed to certify
same to the County Auditor. P.�Iotion Carried.
A corruiitttee of boys •representing the cyclists of the To�ran
asked the council for a park'n space,for their bikes on the streets.
' It teas moved- that a parking space be rovided for bicycles, in
front of the Kneppe Cafe, near the sidewa�k edge.
Fred Potter was present ire person, and. asked. th Clerk to
table his Class C beer an»lication for which he had filed July 22nd
anc� as�cec- the council to consider that he would apply fora Class B
beer permit with the Clerk on Ju]_y 24th.

presented, and on notion by Luwe second by'Ol�ones, same was ordered
placed on file for consideration at the nex$ regular meeting,
motion carried.
