A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
CURRENTLY IN EFFECT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AND LCEA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood approved a
comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding between the LCEA and
City of Lynwood on September 6, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the MOU covered the period from approval to June
30, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Article XXXVII of that MOU provided for a reopener
of the agreement; and
WHEREAS, designated representatives of the City of Lynwood
have met and conferred in good faith with a bargaining team from
the LCEA; and
WHEREAS, agreement on the reopener provisions have been
reached between the representatives of the City of Lynwood and
the bargaining team from the LCEA; and
WHEREAS, the attached exhibits represent the amendments to
the current comprehensive MOU between the City of Lynwood and the
LCEA;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby find,
' determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That Exhibit B - Article V, Wages , Exhibit C -
Article XIII, Health Insurance, Exhibit D - Article XXV,
Grievance and Disciplinary Procedure does reflect the agreement
reached between the City of Lynwood and the LCEA and are hereby
adopted.
Section 2. That these exhibits are incorporated into the
current MOU and supercede the previous language identified for
Article V, XIII and XXV in the current MOU.
