A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ORDERING THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES OF A PORTION
OF ENTERPRISE PLACE JUST NORTH OF INDUSTRY WAY
' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on the
5th day of September, 1989, adopt a Resolution No. 89 -164, declaring
its intention to vacate that portion of Enterprise Place, just South
of Imperial Highway in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter described;
and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and posted
in the time, form and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the 3rd
day of October, 1989, as prescribed by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by "the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1 . That the following described street easement is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and that the public
interest, necessity, and convenience require, and the City Council of
said City hereby declares its order to vacate and abandon said street
easement, as described:
That portion of Enterprise Place, in the City of Lynwood,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on
' Parcel Map No. 14927, as per recorded in Book 168 of Parcel
Maps, page 12, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Industry
Way and the southerly prolongation of the westerly
right -of -way line of Enterprise Place; thence N 7 degrees
34 minutes 14 seconds W 359.13 feet to a point, said point
being the true point of beginning; thence N 7 degrees 34 minutes
14 seconds W 207.94 feet to a point on a curve concave
southwesterly having a radius of 55 feet; thence northeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of 209 degrees
9 minutes 24 seconds a distance of 200.78 feet; thence
S 21 degrees 35 minutes 10 seconds W 50 feet to a point on
a curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 100 feet;
thence southwesterly along said curve through a central angle
of 29 degrees 9 minutes 24 seconds a distance of 50.89 feet;
thence S 7 degrees 34 minutes 14 seconds E 88.77 feet; thence
S 82 degrees 25 minutes 46 seconds W 66.00 feet to the true
point of beginning.
Section 2 . That street lights, water line and fire
hydrant, within said vacation, will be removed, abandoned or relocated
as required by the City.
' Section 3 . That the County of Los Angeles, in exchange,
is required to dedicate an easement and install a cul -de -sac on
Enterprise Place, just south of the above mentioned vacation.
Section 4 . That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in the office
of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
Section 5 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
