A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE PLANNING
DIVISION BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989/90
WHEREAS, the position of Planning Technician is
considered para - professional and is an entry level position;
and;
WHEREAS, an increase in planning activity and com-
plexity of development now requires increasely skilled staff;
and;
WHEREAS, the completion and implementation of the
City's general plan program demands more time from the Plan-
ning Division Manager.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as
follows:
Section 1. Amend the Planning Division Budget for
Fiscal Year 1989/90 for the upgrading of a Planning Techni-
cian position to a Planning Associate position.

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
