A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
DIAL -A -RIDE VANS
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain a safe and
I efficient dial -a -ride program; and
WHEREAS, two of the three dial -a -ride vans are seven years
old and not in good condition to meet the service demands; and
WHEREAS, purchase of two new vans to replace the two old
ones will not only reduce the cost but also improve the overall
operation; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation can use the
two retired vans for less extensive service activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1 : That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following appropriations:
