A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFOR-
NIA, APPROVING THE RECRUITMENT OF
AN ADDITIONAL CODE ENFORCEMENT
OFFICER, APPROPIATING FUNDS FOR
THE POSITION AND AMENDING
THE FISCAL YEAR 1989 -90 CODE
ENFORCEMENT DIVISION BUDGET

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
desires to increase the efficiency of the City's Code En-
forcement Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted and directed
staff to implement an infraction (citation) system within
the City's Code Enforcement mechanisms; and
WHEREAS, the addition of the new position to the
Program staff will facilitate the transition into the new
infraction system; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of the infraction
system will generate revenues to the City in excess
of the costs of adding a new staff position.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as
follows:
Section 1 . The recruitment of an additional Code
Enforcement Officer is hereby approved.
Section 2 . The appropiation of an additional
$27,200.00 to operate the Code Enforcement Program is hereby
approved.
Section 3. The Code Enforcement Division Budget is
hereby amended to reflect the following transfers:

Section 4. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
