RE: Letter of Interest to Serve on Public Art Advisory Committee
To the City of McCall:
My name is Alison Foudy, and I am currently teaching English at McCall-Donnelly
High School. I would very much like to serve on the Public Art Advisory Committee
for the City of McCall. The goals of the committee align exactly with what I have
always envisioned for my hometown: a place in which the arts have a valued and
prominent place in the framework of the city.
I was born in McCall, grew up here, and chose to return to the city after spending
some time overseas and earning BA degrees in art history, German studies, and
English teaching and an MA in art history. I have visited many cities around the
world with the primary purpose of seeking out their art and cultural offerings. I
would love to see McCall become a city that is also sought out for its art and cultural
assets, and I would appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the body that works to
attain that vision.
