A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CURRENT SALARY SCHEDULE
REGARDING SPECIAL COMPENSATION FOR AN INDIVIDUAL
DESIGNATED BY A DEPARTMENT MANAGER TO ACT IN'THE
ROLE OF DEPUTY /ASSISTANT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a
Salary Schedule which includes a section regarding Special Assignment
Compensation; and
WHEREAS, certain Department Managers have a need to designate
an individual to assume responsibility for the department in their absence,
and
WHEREAS, certain Department Managers have a need to be able to
make the designation of the individual to assume responsibility for the
department in their absence at their discretion; and
V
WHEREAS, the individual who will be assigned by the Department
Manager may be removed from the assignment at the will of the Department
Manager, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to provide com-
pensation for this assignment,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows
1 Section 1 . Amend the current Special Assignment Compensation
Salary Schedule to provide as follows
Designated Acting Deputy /Assistant Manager $300 Mo.
Section 2 . This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption
